He started his career in veterinary medicine at the age of 12, volunteering in the local veterinary office as a veterinary assistant. He has worked in various small animal practices over the years in every role including receptionist, veterinary assistant, technician, and veterinarian. Veterinary medicine was a perfect fit for him, being a healer and teacher by nature as well as having a special affinity towards animals. He has an innate curiosity and a compassion for all living things.
Dr. Weisner graduated from Cornell University with honors in 1995 and obtained his veterinary medical degree from Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. He was on staff at the University of Florida with teaching responsibilities for students in the primary care department. He also founded a veterinary practice near Princeton New Jersey that was created with a focus on high-quality medicine with a fear free environment.
He has a special interest in pain management and nutrition, as well as a scientific-holistic approach to medical cases. He is driven by a passion to help people and animals. He realizes that by helping a furry family member, he is helping the entire family.
